I watched Daisies late last night rather than sleeping, this movie was a perfect exisentialist/new-wave trip; I loved it. It was completely insane, and required quite a bit of reading between the lines - as all new wave flicks do - while keeping with themes present in 1960's alternative films similar to Godard, whose work I absolutely love. Anyways, existentialism aside, the movie was adorable, the script was chalked full of symbolism and the cinematography was spectacular - my only complaint was some of the quick colour changes giving me a bit of a headache - oh well.
